Christians do you really love GOD? Do you follow what Jesus taught us?

joe d asked:

Christian Do you really Love GOD? Do you really follow what Jesus has taught us?
YHWH(The personal name of GOD) Shemoth – Exodus 3:13-17

Times change.
Things change.
People change

Malachi 3:6 - For I am the YHWH, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
Revelation 1:8 - “I am the ‘Aleph’ and the ‘Taw’, Beginning and End,” says יהוה “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

Do you really love YHWH the heavenly father? If you do you would follow his commandments according to (1Jn 5:3 For this is the love for YHWH, that we guard His commands,1 and His commands are not heavy.) Many people in today’s age, say that the Torah/Instructions/law are done away with, and we have no need to keep them any longer.

Yahshua the messiah Kept Torah. We should follow in his footsteps at the supreme example of our faith. (1Pe 2:21 For to this you were called, because Messiah also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps,1 Footnote: 11 Cor. 11:1, 1 John 2:6. )

Yahshua was sinless, perfect without spot or blemish. Now I ask you what is sin according to the scriptures? 1Jn 3:4 says “Everyone doing sin also does lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.” If we don’t have to keep the torah any longer, then that should mean that there is no more sin. Hence forth if there is no more sin, what do we have to repent from? If we don’t have to repent then, what did Yahshua die on the for?

This is a inconsistent thought pattern, because we all know “Rom 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the esteem of YHWH, “ This right here shows you in Romans after yahshua died and rose from the dead that sin still abound on earth. Now lets see what yahshua had to say about torah and about earth. “(Matthew 5:18) Truly I say to you, Till heaven and earth come to an end, not the smallest letter or part of a letter will in any way be taken from the law, till all things are done.” Do me a favor, look down. Do you see the floor/ground? Wow look at that, your still on earth! Now do me another step to the closest window and look above, WOW is that a sky? Why godly gee it is. Now can we both agree that the heaven and the earth has not passed away? So this in turn will prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that torah is still in effect.

Christian believe that the torah has been done away with and it’s only a “Jewish Obligation” , but let us now examine what did the messiah say about this. “(Matthew 5:17) Let there be no thought that I have come to put an end to the law or the prophets. I have not come for destruction, but to make complete.” If we were to read this in the KJV it would read like this. “Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.” A lot of people misunderstand this word fulfill. In the Hebrew culture there are things called idioms as well in American culture. For example if I tell you “my brother has kicked the bucket.” That’s the not mean he physically kicked a bucket. It means he died. Throughout rabbinical history, rabbis would get together, and debate the torah, if a proper understanding of a topic in the torah has been giving a proper explanation and a conclusion has been met, rabbis would say you have fulfill torah. If they did not come to a conclusion they would say you have destroyed the torah.
Lets look at the meaning of “fulfill” according to Strong concordance G4137 “play-ro-o” Fulfill means to complete, end, expire, perfect. To truly understand which definition fit the word “fulfill” we have to be consistent in the text. Now let’s look at “
(Matthew 5:19) Whoever then goes against the smallest of these laws, teaching men to do the same, will be named least in the kingdom of heaven; but he who keeps the laws, teaching others to keep them, will be named great in the kingdom of heaven.” This right here show us that fulfill can’t possibly mean to complete, bring to an end, to expire.
So we are left with perfect. Which make perfect sense, because he came to show us how to keep torah the right way, and it also fit in with rabbinical history, because he came to give the proper understanding on the torah.

Now at this time many Christians will start quoting rav shaul / apostle paul. Now before we get to the saying of paul. Let see what peter warned us about. “2Pe 3:15 and reckon the patience of our Master as deliverance, as also our beloved brother Sha’ul wrote to you, according to the wisdom given to him,
2Pe 3:16 as also in all his letters, speaking in them concerning these matters, in which some are hard to understand,1 which those who are untaught and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do also the other Scriptures.” To establish what need to be understood about the letters that Paul wrote is that they are a test to those are taught and stable. If not, you will take his word out of context and create a pretext.

The “we’re not perfect, just saved” loophole covers a wide range of not-very-Christlike behaviors, it seems.

Please tell me you’re not a “messianic” jew, because that’s just another name for Evangelical Christian.

I am a Christian, but I don’t think it’s right how those people try to trick people in to thinking they are Jewish instead of Christian, like they really are.

To answer your queries: Yes; and yes, I do to the best of my ability.

I do love the teachings; the morals are great. Never to hurt or kill, never to take what is not yours; just the plain old good morals. Sadly not many people follow them.
