The story of Lilith.

Child, My name is Lilith and I want to tell you a story. Perhaps you have heard of me, I was the first wife of Adam. It is taught by the folklore of the Jewish culture that I insisted on being on top when me and Adam were to… You know…. Do it and that G-D cast me out for that. That is untrue. It is also taught that I was concubine to Baazelbub and mother to all demons. That is untrue.

Here is what happened, Many years in the garden of Eden my new husband and I decided to search the garden. On the very edge of the garden I saw a woman who was as beautiful as any flower in the garden. She had dark ebony skin and hair the colour of night. She had big beautiful wings. She introduced herself as Ariza a name meaning in the Hebrew language, Door. I told her that I was Adam’s wife, not worth a name, barley worth a soul. That is what Adam told me god had said. Ariza said I was worth a name and named me Lilith. She sealed the naming with a kiss on the lips.
I did not return to Adam, he made me feel worthless like a small stone on the longest road. G-d understood how I felt and made Adam another wife, Eve. I pitied that woman, Adam slapped her, beat her up and G-d did nothing. When I asked G-d why she did nothing for Eve he told me because she didn’t ask. I asked so she sent me Ariza to be my companion.

Eve didn’t think Adam’s abuse was wrong or bad, He had brainwashed her. She felt she was worthless too. I cried whenever I saw my sister in pain I felt her pain myself from back when Adam hit me. I had to do something, find some way to make them equal, So I transformed into a snake and went to the forbidden tree and said to Adam as he passed (Not to Eve as the religious texts state.) and told him to eat the fruit, I lied and told him I had already had some. He took a bite and then picked a whole bunch and brought them to Eve giving her just one a very small one but gobbling down the rest himself. Eve didn’t eat till Adam told her to.
He didn’t tell her to for a long time. First he made her go make clothes after seeing they were nude. Then after the day it took eve to do that he let her eat only half the fruit. That is when G-d threw them out of the garden. But since Eve only ate half the fruit she had less guilt for what she had done which was little. She wasn’t punished much by G-d and was in fact rewarded by her with a longer life (which is why women live longer) and she no longer thought she was nothing. I wasn’t punished by G-d for tricking Eve and My ex husband.

I still live in this garden with my bride Ariza watching all these woman suffering pain because of the same reason Eve suffered, fearful men. I am happy here, my bride and I have three children, two sons, One named Ari and the other named Caleb and one small daughter named Aviva. We are happy here and I know some day you all will be too.
